Worldchoice member, Destina Travel, completes successful rebrand

"With the support of Worldchoice, we have completely rebranded and relaunched our business"    

Destina Travel have been Worldchoice members for a number of years but, until recently, had not taken advantage of the services and support available to them. 

Last year, they took on an ambitious restructure, rebrand and relaunch and looked to the support of The Travel Network Group to make it a success. 

In her own words, Abi Hyslop, Head of Leisure Travel at Destina, has only praise for the team that helped her turn the business around.

"About a year ago, with the help of Lisa (Director of Membership) and her team, we did a bottom up review of our business, which looked at our cost base, our skillset, customer profiles, visions and goals for the future. On the back of this, we put together an action plan of how to improve the business.

We understood the need to be open and honest, and trusted Lisa and the team at TTNG to get under the skin of our business. Lisa supported with a review of the team’s strengths, suppliers used, marketing activity and performance management.

I’m pleased to say that from the exercise and restructure, rebrand, relaunch of the business, we’ve totally turned the business around from being a traditional agency to being a more dynamic and focused business that people want to come to.

In a short space of time, we’ve improved profitability of the company and are already 20% up on sales year-on-year and that’s only since May.

Although we’ve been a member of the Travel Network Group for many years now, we’ve had very little involvement with their services and support available to us.

I’d particularly like to highlight our more recent work with the marketing team, which has been especially beneficial to us. With the help of Lisa, Si and his team, we’ve now got a new website, brand, marketing plan and social media campaigns, which are enabling us to reach a brand new customer base.

The Travel Network Group’s help with the whole process has been amazing, and we can’t thank them enough for their support."
